Reiki is a Japanese stress reduction and relaxation technique that promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stressed, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei, which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power," and Ki which is "life force energy." So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person, including body, emotions, mind, and spirit, creating many beneficial effects, including relaxation and feelings of peace, security, and wellbeing. Guided meditation is a great way to relax and focus your mind. A personalized guided meditation can be especially helpful, as it will be tailored specifically to your needs.
In a personal session, I will work with you to create a guided meditation that addresses your specific concerns. This may include techniques to help you relax, visualization exercises, or affirmations that are meaningful to you.
We can also discuss any other ways you might like to use guided meditation, such as for stress relief or deep relaxation.
Reiki certification is a process through which you can become a certified Reiki practitioner.
There are many different programs available, and you can find one that fits your needs and learning style. In my program, you will learn about the history of Reiki, the energy system of the body, how to give a treatment, and more.
You will also receive hands-on experience in providing treatments to others. Upon completion of the program, you will be a certified Reiki practitioner and will be able to use the Reiki healing energy in your own life and to help others.
